Terms and Conditions 

Mental Health Training Qld (MHTQ), course booking terms and conditions effective from 5th January  2021. Please note these ‘Terms and Conditions’ may be subject to change without notice. 

Public courses 

Before booking into a course, please ensure you have read the course flyer and accreditation information, to ensure the  course will meet your training needs and that you are able to meet pre-requisites, where stated. 

All fees include the cost of the training, administration documentation, course manual, further resources, certificate/s  and opportunity to become Accredited. 

Cancellations 

In the event of cancellation by the participant, due to limited seating, MHTQ request that you cancel at least 48 hours  before a scheduled course. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel in writing and sent via email  to: mhtrainingqld@hotmail.com. If you have to cancel, we will offer you a credit if you cancel before 48 hours, but do not  offer refunds. You may use this credit to attend a course at a later date. This will be valid for 6 months. However, if you  do not cancel prior to the 48 hours, you will lose the payment for the course. Refunds will not be given for “no shows”.  The owner has the only right to be flexible here.  

Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the course date, will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within  3—6 days will incur a 20% fee. Cancellations made within 48 hours to the course date will incur a 30% fee. 

I understand that I am holding a spot so reservations for courses are non-refundable. If I am unable to attend the course  I am registered for, I can transfer that to a colleague/friend. 

Private courses 

Training courses to be held at your premises, will be invoiced prior to the course being held and must be paid for prior to  the date of the training. Participant numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the course commencement date. In the  event that a participant cannot attend, then that space may be taken up by another participant. Your instructor must be  notified of the change 24 hours prior to the commencement of the course date. There may be some flexibility in the  event of extenuating circumstances. The owner has the only right to e flexible here. There will be no refund or credit  offered for ‘no shows’. 

In the event of a cancellation by the client, a full refund less 20% administration fee will be given, provided we receive  notification of cancellation at least 7 days prior to the course date. A 50% refund will be given up to 48 hours prior to the course date, and cancellations received less than 48 hours before the course, are not entitled to a refund. 

General Disclaimer 

MHTQ reserves the right to cancel or change a course date and/or venue at any time including but not limited to, insuffi cient numbers, trainer availability, sickness, accident or any COVID-19 circumstances and/or restrictions. Notification will  be provided within two weeks of scheduled course date, whenever possible. A course transfer will be offered to partici pants to attend a course at a later date.  

Mental Health Training Qld is in no way liable for any participant who selects the incorrect course type.. This is solely the responsibility of the participant/organiser.
